Barry Obama

Scott Inoue is a well known chiroprator in California. About six months ago he sent the President a photo of the two in third grade, asking for an autograph. They were both classmates at Noelani Elementary School in Manoa.

The President returned the photo with his autograph and a thank you note attached to it. The picture about 40 years old was found by Scott in his childhood home in Manoe. He said he always thought of that photo and always wondered what became of "Barry".

President Obama lived in Indonesia for most of his childhood.

The Most Admired of 2009

Sarah Palin may have had an amazing year; with her popularity soaring and her book reaching No.1. But in a recent USA Today/Gallup Poll, the former governor was not voted most admired woman of the year. That prize went to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Clinton got 16% of the votes; Palin was not far behind with 15%. The Obama girls Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey came in third and fourth with 7% and 8% of the votes.

In the men’s category, President Obama was voted no.1 with 30% of the votes, despite his approval rating. Former President George Bush came in 2nd with 4%, beating out one of the most influential man of our time Nelson Mandel, with 3%. Glenn Beck and the Pope are tied in fourth place with 2% of the votes.
