Where Does Al-Qaeda Go From Here?

As we learned Sunday night of the death of the most hated man in the world on, the question still remains “Are we safer now?” Has Bin Laden’s death made the world safer or only fueled his followers to seek avenge on the United States and its supporters? Muslim Comic Book on the Way

An unlikey new superhero is on the rise and in the form of a young Muslim boy in a wheelchair. Sound strange? Well it is for some comic readers, but for Jay T. Snyder it's not. 

The young boy with super powers, is the brainchild of U.S. philanthropist and businessman Jay T. Snyder.  Snyder last month brought young Americans and Syrians together in Damascus by the Open Hands Initiative.  Snyder gave these young kids one job: come up with a storyline for a new super hero, and that they did.

Obama Wants Signed Copy of The New Yorker?

President Obama has had some hard criticism from The New Yorker, while running in 2008, but so has many other people--Like Osama Bin Laden.  Back in 2008, the New Yorker portrayed the President and First Lady as gun-toting--which didn't go over too well with the first couple.  But in February 2010, a cover showing Obama walking on water and then falling in, apparently got the President's attention, so much that he wants a signed copy of the magazine that references his trouble with health care and the Sam Brown election.

Bobby Jindal Goes Against Obama

Eight weeks into the BP Oil Spill, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has had it on waiting on the Obama administration and BP.  Today he ordered the National Gurad to start building sand barriers off the Louisiana coast.  ABC news reports that Jindal told the national guard that he cannot sit and wait on BP and he is now taking matters into his own hands.

You're a Hottie

"You're a hottie with a smokin' little body." That's the Quote of the day. So you maybe wondering why this is such a big deal. Well just imagine being President of the Free World and a little hottie tells you, that "you're a hottie with a smokin' little body". Well there is no imagining, those words were actually spoken to President Obama today.

While on his job-economy tour to upstate New York today, President Obama was greeted by a Luann Haley, who apparently really wanted a hug from the President. So, Ms. Haley knew she had to have the absolute best line for him and well she did. Mr. Obama, I am sure blushed, because I'm pretty sure he's never heard such a line. But nonetheless, Ms. Haley, who works for the Department of Education, got her hug, a big one to that.
However, there is more to this story and that hug.  After Luann Haley was hugged by President Obama, whom apparently gave her a big ole' squeeze. She swooned and he said Michelle would be watching on television. "That's all right,"' Ms. Haley said as the cameras rolled. "Hi Michelle, eat your heart out."

Yes We Can--The Remix

So remember the days when Obama's speeches inspired us and we would be gluded to the TV or radio to hear his every word? Yeah I remember those day too,sadly they are not longer here.  But it was in those day that Singer/Songwriter Will.I.Am created the "Yes We Can" video. Now, two year's later and a Healthcare Bill being passed by the Obama administration--someone decided to remix the "Yes We Can" video featuring House minority leader John Boehner.

This is a--Shut Your Mouth Joe!

"Shut your mouth" were not exactly the words President Obama uttered today, after his partner in crime's--not so classy comment about Healthcare.

We all know that Vice President Joe Biden has a mouth on him, sometimes I think it was partly why he was choosen as Obam'a second in command. His words  today may not have gone over so well with the media or Washington,but the 30 year veteran was just utterly happy about the Healthcare Bill, he could contain himself.

"This is a Big &$!ing deal" he whispered to Obama, but his whisper was heard thoughout the world.  President Obama patted him on the shoulder as if he never heard those words, and began his speech thanking...none other than good ol' Joe.

Obama Taps Ex-Presidents for Haiti

President Obama today tapped former Presidents Clinton and Bush to assist in the Haitian relief efforts after this week’s horrific earthquake.

The objective is to help the Caribbean island recover, rebuild and move towards a better future. This fundraising is the same that Clinton and Bush Sr. did for the Tsunami in 2005.

Clinton, who is the US Special Envoy to Haiti has been helping the island through his Clinton Foundation and through out his presidency. Haiti is especially close to the former President and wife Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, spending a delayed honeymoon there and visiting every chance they get for the past 20 years.
President Obama hopes that Clinton and Bush can gather the American people in helping with the relief. Meanwhile, Secretary Clinton is set to arrive in Haiti today, accompanied by USAID chief Rajiv Shah. Clinton will be the first highest U.S dignitary to witness the destruction first hand. Her hopes are to speed up the recovery. Shah stated that the US has mobilized $48Million worth of food assistance, enough to feed about 2 million people for the next six months.

HOPE: The Obama Musicial

In the next week, the world will have its first look of a musical called "HOPE" The Obama musical. Yes, you heard right, the President of the United States has his own musical.
A group of actors wanted to tell the story leading up to the presidency, produced by an American, HOPE highlights McCain to Clinton and everyone in between. It will premier on January 17th in Frankfurt, Germany.

CIA, What's going on?

It’s a new year and new rules are emerging from TSA, but will they help? Maybe, but has any of these rules really helped?

Logically, it is no one’s fault other than the airport securities, who missed the underwear bomber. How could you have missed a bomb built into a person underwear? I'll tell you how you missed it, you are too busy focusing on Muslims and people who have beards or wear turbans, or look Arabic or whose last name sounds funny. That's how you missed the bomb, you have way too many people on the watch list and no one is briefing you on who really needs to be on that "watch list". Four-hundred and twenty thousand people on your watch list, do you really think there are that much terrorits? But, you are not the only ones who needs to take responsiblity for yet another mishap, let’s start at the beginning.

President Obama, you need to think about hiring a new CIA staff or retraining them. How is it possible, that a Nigerian dignitary can share his concerns about his son being a terrorist to the US government, and they do absolutely nothing about it? Or how is it possible that they knew about terrorists in Yemen and a person called “The Nigerian” and wait for it, even knew his name….And did nothing. Can someone please explain this to the scared American public?

It seems that in the light of all the terrorist attacks, I always seem to read about the U.S government knowing and doing nothing. I am really starting to wonder, if the CIA wants America to suffer another hit like Sept 11th. Your job is to protect us, brief the President on what’s going on, so he can decide what needs to be done. Do you not care for the safety of this country and its people? I mean was 3000 plus people deaths on Sept.11th not enough for you? Do you need more dead bodies before you start protecting us and tracking down anyone who wants to harm us?

It is said, that another attack is coming, whether or not that is true, are you CIA, looking into that? Or are you just focusing on things that don’t really matter?

Barry Obama

Scott Inoue is a well known chiroprator in California. About six months ago he sent the President a photo of the two in third grade, asking for an autograph. They were both classmates at Noelani Elementary School in Manoa.

The President returned the photo with his autograph and a thank you note attached to it. The picture about 40 years old was found by Scott in his childhood home in Manoe. He said he always thought of that photo and always wondered what became of "Barry".

President Obama lived in Indonesia for most of his childhood.

Party Crashers

If you're going to crash a party, note to self make sure it doesn't involve the President of The United States. I mean really, how stupid can one person be or two people have to be in this case.

Last Tuesday President Obama held his first state dinner in honor of the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with 750 invited guests. Sadly there were two uninvited guest--being called "The Party Crashers", who showed up and made their way in; taking pictures with everyone, including the President. But I hope no one is putting this incident pass them about being caught, because if you asked me, they knew. They both knew if they got caught it would be international press coverage.....Making them at least some what celebrities.

Michaele and Tareq Salahi a "hoping to be famous" couple from Virgina crashed the President's first state dinner. The Salahis, are by far the most self absorbed, no care for anyone else kind of people, because if they did, they would know that someone would be held accountable for their crashing of a state dinner. And by accountable....most likely someone is getting fired. So here is to you Michaele and Tareq Salahi--I hope that this brings you fame and fortune---Oh and by the way a full criminal investigation are in the talks for your party crashing, so get prepared....I do hope it was worth it. I hope that this holiday season, while you are sipping on eggnog and eating your fancy meal....you remember the individuals who may possibly get fired for your stunt...You're STUPID stunt. You know all those prominent Indian folks who live in the United States and didn't get invited--you too should have crashed the party, since it is a slap in the face that these two non-cultured individuals got to experience something, I think you should have.

However, I am not just blaming The Salahis. Someone please explain to me if you don't have an invitation to a "State Dinner" how do you get in? How do you get pass secret service and shake the President's hand, take pictures with the Vice President and rub elbows with the people that lead this country. I mean, did anyone ask the Salahis where there invitation was? or who they even were? Part of me says, yeah you should get fired, I mean what if these were terrorist...The President, VP, Speak of the House, Secretary of State, Defense, you name it would all be dead. Did you think about that? I guess not.

Obama Bows To Japan

I have been a little hesitant to blog about Obama's gesture to Japanese Emperor Akihito. But I'm a bit confused as to why this is such a big deal. So he bowed, what's the deal? I mean really, why is this even a story.
Just so you know, there were three former Presidents who bowed and no one then thought it was a weak move on behalf of the U.S. All of a sudden, now we are weak because our President bows. Bill Clinton also bowed to Akihito; Nixon bowed to his father, Emperor Showa and Eisenhower bowed to French President Charles de Gaulle. And guess what, none of those gestures lead to the fall of American power overseas. I am sure the President did it in as CNN's Donna Brazil puts it "in kindness and goodwill" to an aging Emperor.

So really, why is this even a story. In America, you can shake our hand or don't, say "What's up" or don't and we don't really care. But in other countries, their culture, their way of life, their gestures mean a lot and what we may think is not a big deal, is a very big one to them. And maybe President Obama didn't need to bow, but to an aging Emperor, it probably meant a lot.
