A Divided McCain House

Cindy McCain is the newest "celebrity" to lend her face to the NOH8 campaign.
This campaign started back in 2008 after the state of California ban same sex marriage. McCain's daughter Meghan McCain posed for the campaign last summer and is extremely proud of her mother for taking this stance.
So, is there a divided McCain house? Yes,John McCain strongly opposes same sex marriage. However, in a statement released yesterday by his office: “Senator McCain respects the views of members of his family. The Senator strongly supported the effort to successfully pass Arizona Proposition 102, the Marriage Protection Amendment, and his opposition to gay marriage remains the same. Senator McCain believes the sanctity of marriage is only defined as between one man and one woman.”

Yesterday, Meghan tweeted:"I couldn't be more proud of my mother for posing for the NOH8 campaign,I think more Republicans need to start taking a stand for and civil rights in this country and set the example that this is not a partisan issue."
