Al Qaeda's leader Osama Bin Laden is calling for a jihad.In a message posted on a Islamic website today, Bin Laden wants the Palestinians to wage a jihad or holy war against Israel for the continuous attack on the Gaza strip and its people.
Bin Laden's message goes on to say "Now America is begging the world for money and the United States will not be as powerful as it used to be, this rapid failing for America was one of the reasons that the Israelis started their attacks against Gaza and just to make use of what's left of the Bush term." He does not mention President Barack Obama, as did his #2 did about a week ago, blaming the conflict on the US and Barack Obama.
This message came a day after Israel stated, that although its attack on Gaza is successful, it's mission is not completed and they will not stop. Their goal is to destroy Hama's ability to launch rockets.
I am trying to figure out, being Catholic is this what God really wants from us. I mean fighting and killing each other, is that what God intended for us to part take in. I am just so sick, so sick and tired of these people fighting each other. If it's not the Israel, it's Iran, if not Iran, Iraq, and of course the Untied States always gets in the middle. I get that we want to bring peace and harmony to the world, because we are looked on as the super power of the world. But here is the thing, when they fight, they fight for GOD and who is better and who's going to heaven and who is sitting on more oil. They are not fighting for freedom, they don't care for freedom, all they care about is what they have been fighting for all these years and we, the United States will never understand. We may try too, but there is going to come a day when being in Iraq, the US will wonder why they elected Bush for a second term, now 2009, they haven't questioned it yet. Seeing that most of the country is just high on Obama-mania right now.
