Land, Air and Sea

Its been a little over a week and Hamas and the Israelis are still fighting. It has officially become a full blown land,air and sea war. So who is to blame for this?

The Islamist group Hamas blames the Israelis for not lifting the Gaza Strip blockade and the Israelis blame Hamas for increasing their rocket fire to several Israeli towns. The cease -fire between these two groups ended December 19th 2008, however Hamas didn't wait to resign a new agreement or give Israel a heads up, they started their attacks on the Israelis. So I guess we know who to blame. Hamas is in the same category as Hezbollah and Al-Qaeda.

You know I wonder sometimes, if these people really think that God is proud of them. I mean weren't we always taught that God wants us to strive to love one another and have peace. So why are we fighting wars and killing innocent people? Is God really telling us to kill our fellow man? I reckon it is not so.

As of 4 January, 2009, medical sources in Gaza reported that more than 537 Palestinians were killed, about 200 of them civilians, including at least 75 children,while more than 2,700 have been injured. Hamas claims 10 of its fighters have been killed.Five Israelis (two soldiers and three civilians) have been killed in the same period by Palestinian rockets, and 32 soldiers were injured during Israel's ground offensive.On 31 December, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip published a list of 187 of the people killed.

So with all of these lives being lost, does it occur to any of them that maybe they should come to an agreement and stop killing their own people. The Israelis and Palestine have been fighting for over 60 years, I mean aren't they tired.
