Thanksgiving

Here it is again, another year for Turkey, mash potatoes, yams, stuffing and pumpkin pie. It's Thanksgiving, the begining of the Holiday Season.

The holiday's origins can be traced to harvest festivals which have been celebrated in many cultures since ancient times, the American holiday has religious undertones related to the arrival of the English settlers by Native Americans.

Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. Although it is celebrated in other countries, it is primarily an American Holiday.
