In my opinion, he is the only person who can inspire ANY generation--going all the way back to my grandmother (whom by the way is 81 this year)
Mandela turned 92 yesterday and this year, unlike his 90 (huge celebration) he celebrated with his family. "Today is an opportunity for millions of people around the world to look inside themselves and find those beautiful qualities as any human being has and say: `I am able to make a difference to my neighbor, to someone underprivileged, I can extend my goodness to other people,'" Mandela's wife Graca Machel said Sunday. She said that while her husband was no longer so physically strong, "his spirit is strong as ever."
For a good portion of the world Nelson Madela inspires generation after generation. He makes us want to be better individuals to our family, friends, neighbours and even our enemies. And no person can deny that. This birthday marks the first year of "Mandela Day" --a person committing to 67mins to their community.
